Preview of Russell King Homer’s Ancestral History Volume II
This list was originally compiled by Bryce King Homer, Susan Roylance and Lillie Mae Pardee as a sneak peek for Volume II of the Russell King Homer Ancestral History book. While that physical volume was never published, this page preserves the exact research and unique format originally intended for the book.
A Note on Corrections and Accuracy: The original history was compiled back in 1976—long before the internet or modern digital archives existed. The original authors did an incredible job, but they were entirely limited to the paper records available to them at the time.
Because of this, you will notice that I have updated and corrected several ancestor names and family lines where mistakes were made in the original text. However, genealogy is an ongoing puzzle. While I have used FamilySearch to repair and verify as much of the tree as possible, digital records also have limitations—particularly for family groups living before 1600, where surviving records are often sparse or less accurate. Please enjoy this data as a deeply researched guide, but keep in mind that despite these corrections, some historical mistakes may still exist.
How to navigate this page: This layout uses a traditional Ascending Genealogy style, meaning it traces backward in time starting from Russell King Homer and Eliza Williamson.
To help you trace the lines, each couple is assigned a unique family number:
For example: Looking at Family No. 1, you will see that Russell’s parents are listed as Family No. 2 (Benjamin Cobb Homer and Anna Warner), and Eliza’s parents are listed as Family No. 108 (John Williamson and Nancy Sickles). You can skip straight to those numbers to keep moving backward through the family tree.
