PREFACE—2016

It is my honor to take a few moments to digitize this book and add a few more pictures and stories that were found on the internet. This wonderful family history gem was given to me by way of my cousin Bryce King Homer. We were introduced to each other as we resided in the same Ward and for the longest time did not realize how close of a relation we were. His grandmother is Russell King Homer’s first wife Eliza Williamson and my grandmother is his second wife Mary Caroline Anderson.

It was not until Bryce was assigned to be my family’s home teacher that we made the connection. During one of his visits he gave my family a copy of this book of which we have enjoyed reading and learning about our ancestors and their experiences. Bryce let me know that he and his wife were involved in the mid 1970’s in creating this book. I have only digitized and added to it in the spirit of sharing such a wonderful legacy and eternal family that we are all a part of.

In working on this book, I can truly say that I have felt the spirit of Elijah and been able to find pictures and other stories that have been added. I have felt the spirit of those individuals who are listed in this book and their approval as my heart has been filled with love for these great pioneers of the gospel.
